While trying to downsize & declutter our home recently, my husband and I realized that we were in “desperate need of a storage unit!” And after searching for a storage facility by my home, I came upon Simply Self Storage in Neptune City. Unfortunately the unit we needed was not readily available at the time......but the site manager, Alecia, saw my desperation and promised to do her best to find me one.....which she did in just 2 days! This young lady truly went “the extra mile” to help us.....and that is what I call....GREAT customer service! :)

I just came from Simply Self Storage in Neptune, NJ and I can't say enough about the facility and most of all, "Ellen A" who helped me. The facility is so clean and neat and Ellen couldn't have been more accommodating. She helped me with the contract, took me by golf cart to show me where the unit is, and explained everything completely. And she was so pleasant through the process, even through the heat and masks. Great company. I recommend them!

Great experience from the start. Grounds very well maintained, clean and neat. Unit followed same. Online account services and mobile gate access is certainly a great feature.
I can say no more about the management.
Professionalism that is hard to find. The company's best asset. Always, polite and with a smile, punctual and present, busy and diligent in day to day operation. Never not seen attending something, from customer sales to picking up scraps around the property. Responsive to inquiry always a quick return call.
Finally, dedication, the unique value which make success in any business. Unprecedented in my eyes. No value can be placed for this type of dedication.

I was on the market for a small storage unit so I can remove my things from my mom's house, and I came across Simply Self Storage. Their property is pretty big and they have indoor storage units which is a plus ! Ellen is very nice and she covered everything, I had no questions at the end of our meeting. The storage unit (5x5) is the perfect size for me and the location is very convenient! They have great 24/7 security and someone on the premises at all times which makes me feel safe and I would not be afraid to come at night alone if need be. They're located behind the car wash in Neptune off grant ave so its a little hard to see, you would drive right pass it and not know, but I love that because its very lowkey. I'd definitely recommend this facility to anyone who needs a storage unit !

I was a client for a little over 4 years. On the front end, the property is well-maintained, clean and secure and I always received friendly customer service. However on the business end is where I had some issues.
-The rate DOUBLED from $99 per month to $199.11 during my time. Often times, I was not notified of these rate increases.
-I filed adequate notice to vacate my unit by Jan 31, 2019 and SS continued to bill me. Had to get CC company involved in the dispute Their excuse was that I (technically) still occupied the unit because I left a bag of trash there. Phone call would have been a simple fix, but they made it more complicated this way. I suspect they were trying to squeeze more $ out of me.

When we walked in the other day, circumstances were clearly against the staff. From medical issues cutting the man power to technical difficulties, I was sent straight back to the stress of my own previous job. Despite all of this, Joletta was amazingly pleasant and patient with us and my mom's many questions. i made a reservation two days ago with Ms Anderson soon as i booked my reservation someone else called me and it was her she let me know who she was she knew exactly what i requested being that i was going through so much and needed a unit quick ms Anderson provided the best answers to every question , she showed me my unit , told me about the place and got me in quick explaining everything down to the lease and what im paying for i told her thank you for all her patience although she told me she was fairly new the experience she gave me and my husband was above and beyond choose simplys clean place very nice staff .

staff is very nice. facility is a little older but it is clean, well kept, well lit and secure. i had a very bad experience with one of the chain storage facilities previously so I was really nervous to use a storage facility again, however the staff made me feel very comfortable. there also wasn't a bunch of additional charges like most storage places. you know where they tell you its 29.99 and you get there and they tell you its 29.99 plus this and that fee so its actually 100 a month? simply self storage was very straightforward.

Nice dry units, not climate controlled though, so if you have temperature-sensitive items, this might not be the place for you.
Good location, nice staff, but closes at 9:00 PM. Not just the office; the entire site.
Generally, if I'm renting a storage unit, I'd expect 24hr access to the unit & my stuff.
Just my opinion.

I met with the assistant manager, Dave (Neptune, NJ location) to inspect the facilities and discuss the rental of one of the units. I wasn't sure what size I wanted, so Dave showed me a couple. He was knowledgeable, informative, pleasant and easy to get along with. As he was my first contact with the storage facility, which was also in a clean and impressive state, I signed up with them. The unit I rented had some debris in it and Dave said he would clean it out. After I signed the agreement and came back later in the day, Dave was true to his word and swept the unit clean. I would recommend this place.

I have had storage units all over NJ and all over the country. NC, FL,CO. Frank is hands down the best owner I have ever dealt with. His rates are extremely fair he is always available to answer questions and is flexible when possible. Initially was a little wary of my unit location facing the street and right on the other side of a fence but never ever had any issues as it's definitely a secure facility. Would definitely go here again and would recommend to anyone. Way better than those big name storage companies!

There is not enough I can say about this facility & the excellent service provided by the staff at this storage location. I have been a long term tenant renting a fairly large unit with absolutely no ill situations to speak of. Move in was a very fast process. Access to the facility is ideal & the grounds are always well maintained. The Manager Frank goes above & beyond to insure that all your needs & questions are handled accordingly. He is absolutely in my opinion the key to this locations success. I will absolutely recommend this location to Business Partners, Friends & Family for their storage needs. Simply Self Storage offers a well-kept and secure facility, a good size selection of units, reasonable hours of operation, and fair prices. They have very straightforward and helpful staff and management. They call you when you forget to pay or there is an issue with your auto payment so that you can avoid a late fee. About Our Facility
If you’re in need of storage along the Jersey Shore, look no further than our Neptune City storage facility. Just east of the Jersey Shore University Medical Center and near the intersection of Highway 33 and Route 35 at 1515 Washington Avenue. Turn north onto Union Avenue from Highway 33 and continue on the road through the bend where it turns to Washington Avenue, at which point you’ll find us on the north side of the road.
You’ll immediately notice some of the many amenities we offer our customers when you arrive. For one, you’ll see the aisles are wide enough to accommodate moving trucks — so if you need to move large items into storage, don’t worry. We also offer drive-up unit access, so you won’t have to carry your things far. Plus, there’s no need to bring packing supplies, because we have plenty of those.
And rest assured that we take several security measures to keep you and your belongings safe. We watch over our fully-fenced facility around the clock with security cameras, and we use keypad entry on units so only you can get to your things. While you’re here, you can enjoy excellent visibility, thanks to our indoor and outdoor lighting.
