The best customer is a repeat one, and this will be my second stay with one of their storage units. I like their security systems. Lots of peace of mind by staying here again. Recommended

I stopped in to get some information on renting a unit while running errands. It was clean and very open with all their products for sale on display. And the employee on duty there was nice and knowledgeable too. There was no hassle about mask wearing either. If you wear one great, if you don't that's fine too.

The staff here is very respectful and knowledgeable. I asked some pretty thorough questions which they had sensible and satisfactory answers to. Also very clean and organized which is a perk for being a storage facility!

My roommate and I have been renting our unit for about a year. The staff was friendly when we signed for our lease there, the storage facility is always clean, and we have enough room to store our items. With that said the $10 extra fee for their security was never mentioned to us and we assumed any fee like that would have been added to the rent, for months we waited for someone from their office to call and explain this to us fee to us, it never came. We have had our rent raised three times in the time we have been there, two of the times we were given notification by mail, the last time they said they had gotten returned mail from us to their office, they claimed that they sent me emails about this, I never got one from their office (I check my junk mail daily), nor did they try to call to inform us of the returned mail which would have been the next step if contact was not established by email. They also did not have on record my roommates contact information that we had provided to them when we signed for our unit. It wasn't until I called the corporate office that someone finally contacted us about our issues. If it wasn't for the fact that they still have the cheapest storage units in the area I would be finding a new place to store my items. As someone who helps run a facility the way they handled communication with myself and my roommate was done very poorly. The facility is nice, but don't expect much for communication from the office, unless you want to be blamed for why they didn't reach back out to you concerning returned mail about them raising the price of your unit. Also expect your rent to be raised every five months. Update: we found a new place and are no longer at this facility, found a place for half the price and with no hidden fees.

Had a large unit available when others were all waitlisted. Super easy to work with. From phone call to signed agreement and keys in just about an hour. Definitely recommend them!

Went in to get info on renting. Looking at different places and so far this has been the best! The woman I spoke to, I believe Shannon, was really helpful and made me feel comfortable about entrusting a loved one's things to the facility. Good rates and great customer service.

Very well organized. We moved a couple with the "right move moving company's " out of lima, I am onle of the employees that moved the families items. 2 evelators, super easy guys.

I am very impressed with the staff at the Saline Self storage Facility. I got good advice and staff were always available during regular hours to deal with my questions. The facility is extremely clean and the access for large trucks is excellent. I am glad I chose this location after looking at another one closer to my final destination which was not comparable at all.. I would recommend this to any one who asked. Thank you for taking care of my furniture for 2 months.

I never write reviews but this place deserves positive feedback, every step of my experience was smooth the acquisition of several units, the access, the facility design, the hours of operation, the security in place, and finally Shannon's assistance moving out. I would definately use Simply Storage again without hesitating even they were farther away just because I trust them.

Their office is still open during the COVID-19 pandemic but I should point out they will only allow one person (or couple) in the office at a time. The garage and all storage is still accessible but limited to 8am to 8pm.

Absolutely stellar staff, and the facility is clean and well organized. The paperwork was a breeze and before I knew it I was all set with a generously sized unit! Of all the storage facilities I've used over the years, Simply Self Storage is by far my favorite. Keep up the great work!

We were very pleased with our experience at Simply Self Storage. The facility was very clean, and I felt comfortable leaving my items there. The manager, Matt, was super helpful. When we were cleaning out our unit, all the dollies were in use. Matt went out of his way to find us something to use. He even helped us break down our box spring and mattress. The facility itself is great, with indoor, climate controlled units. I have two complaints: first, is that they have hours that you can't get in, which given that staff often isn't there seems like an unneeded annoyance for the customers. Also, they have raised rates by almost 100% in the last few years, with annual increases of $10 or more per month from 80 to 150.

I really like this place so far. We're pretty new, but it's been great so far. The price point is good, and they had a perfect unit for us. Matthew, the manager was very nice and super helpful.

I have rented at this place for over 11 years. Me and my family have had many units in this facility, I currently have one unit and when looking into getting a second realized they are overcharging me for my current unit. The good: 1. The units are indoors. That makes loading and unloading in the elements better. 2. They have a loading dock that you can use if you have a trailer or a big truck. 3. They have 2 restrooms available near the garage loading doors. 4. The staff on site are usually very nice. 5. They have an elevator, much easier to get your stuff up and down if you have a second floor unit. 6. They have dollies/carts available to help you move your stuff in/out of your unit. There are usually several parked right inside the doors from the garage. The bad: 1. The garage security doors seem to be broken more than they aren't. It goes in waves, but it seems to happen more frequently. This summer the security doors were stuck in the open position for about a month. Sometimes you don't realize the exit door is broken until you go to leave and then you have to awkwardly back up out the entrance and hope noone else is there or coming in. Sometimes, your only way in is through one of the smaller doors. Hopefully it isn't raining or you aren't moving large or heavy things on those days. 2. The price. Once you get a unit, they will regularly increase your rent regardless. I am currently paying 20% over the rental rates for the exact same unit. If you ask they will say "We have no control over the day to day pricing. Everyone gets rate raises, there is nothing I can do to help." It seems fraudulent to me for them to advertise one price, but charge another. 3. The place needs to be cleaned more frequently. The floors are rarely swept, maybe once a month or less. The bathrooms aren't cleaned regularly. The garbage cans in there are regularly over flowing. 4. Large commercial moving company trucks are not encouraged to use the loading docks. Instead they will block the entire garage area for hours on end. 5. The upstairs is not as conditioned as well as the downstairs. If you are storing anything that is temperature sensitive (ie. you don't want it to freeze or melt), pay the extra to get a first floor unit. In particular, avoid units on or near the exterior walls. Overall, it is nice to store your stuff inside, but with the garage doors breaking so often, loading and unloading your stuff isn't very convenient anymore. Also, with this last rate increase I feel like I am being ripped off and will probably close my unit.

On Saturday 6/23/18, Jennifer was a very huge help. I came in because I am shopping around at storage places and she was very polite. She even stood up to greet me. She was about to show me a unit when I told her i am just shopping around prices and I told her that I would most likely come back even though the prices were a little higher than some of the other storage places I looked at. She even offered to give me the rest of June for free which I was very shocked because no one else had done that. But unfortunately, my husband and i are looking for a cheaper and we found one. Tell Jennifer she is doing a great job.

(2.) The price can *sometimes* be right. (3.) Conveniently located near Ann Arbor (4.) They actively have pest traps around, to keep it vermin and insect free. (5.) In all the years I've rented, most of the office staff have been very friendly and helpful. CONS: (1.) The inside parking area is small. Maybe 4 cars, if everyone parks correctly and doesn't have a trailer. (2.) The layout of the garage is inconvenient, because you cannot tell if it is full unless you type in your code and open the bay door. Also, if anyone is there with a moving van, they will occupy the entire space. (3.) The storage facility shares the building with a trucking company. There have been several occasions where I couldn't drive my car inside the garage area, because a parked semi-truck was blocking it. (4.) The automatic door is almost always broken. There was one year where the exit door was stuck in the open position for more than a month. Very secure *eyeroll* and none of us got discounts off our rents! They don't seem to make the people who hit the door pay for damages, so it takes forever to repair/replace it. (5.) They do not reward loyal customers in the long run. The number of times my rent has been raised is quite a lot, which is hilarious because my current rental hike is for a higher price than what's advertised on their website. This company doesn't care that I've always paid my rent on time for YEARS. (6.) The sensors for the interior lights are in weird locations. I rent in the middle of an exterior wall. In order to turn on the light *directly in front* of my unit (across from K row), I have to walk all the way to G or Q rows to trip the sensor. And since it's not on a very long timer, if I'm working in my unit rearranging things, I may have to walk back-and-forth numerous times. (7.) The hallways are rarely swept. There have been times where a piece of trash has remained in the same spot outside someone else's unit for months on end. (8.) It may be "climate controlled," but the upstairs gets HOT in the summer. To the point where if I'm visiting my unit to remove some items, I'll be drenched in sweat before I leave. Also, cold in the winter. Bring gloves. (9.) As others have pointed out, there are a limited number of carts available. It fluctuates from year to year. I've seen it with as little as 3, and as many as 6. (10.) There is usually only one person working in the office, so if they're inspecting any part of the facility or showing a new customer around, it could be a long time before they're back. Over-all, I've been pretty pleased with my time at this facility. Over the years, my family and I have rented four of their storage units (we currently have 3). But, with this latest rent hike, I think it's time for me to move along and find somewhere else. Preferably with a nicer garage bay.

In order to turn on the light *directly in front* of my unit (across from K row), I have to walk all the way to G or Q rows to trip the sensor. And since it's not on a very long timer, if I'm working in my unit rearranging things, I may have to walk back-and-forth numerous times. (7.) The hallways are rarely swept. There have been times where a piece of trash has remained in the same spot outside someone else's unit for months on end. (8.) It may be "climate controlled," but the upstairs gets HOT in the summer. To the point where if I'm visiting my unit to remove some items, I'll be drenched in sweat before I leave. Also, cold in the winter. Bring gloves. (9.) As others have pointed out, there are a limited number of carts available. It fluctuates from year to year. I've seen it with as little as 3, and as many as 6. (10.) There is usually only one person working in the office, so if they're inspecting any part of the facility or showing a new customer around, it could be a long time before they're back. Over-all, I've been pretty pleased with my time at this facility. Over the years, my family and I have rented four of their storage units (we currently have 3). But, with this latest rent hike, I think it's time for me to move along and find somewhere else. Preferably with a nicer garage bay.

Facility is clean and secure. Our service experience was excellent. We moved out and within 2 hours received a call that the door had been left open and they were verifying that everything was ok. GREAT SERVICE at start and end of storage contract!

These supplies are shipped directly to Simply Self Storage monthly via Fed Ex. The last two times, Tim Howell received and handled the shipments perfectly - going out of his way to provide great customer service! The facility itself is secure, clean, and has easy (drive in and out) access.

Very clean facility and Regina was just awesome. Besides the great storage space, they also have small offices which I may be looking to lease.

The storage unit is a newer facility. There are a total of only 4-5 hand carts to load and wheel your belongings to your unit so if someone is using them there is a wait. It could be kept cleaner. It needs garbage emptied more frequently and the floors need sweeping. Be careful because they LOVE to zap you with late fees. I have several ynits and found their pricing specials and billing communications complicated. The local mgrs are NOT empowered to make decisions and so by the time you question charges and someone gets back to you, they've imposed Late fees that are 50% of the cost of the unit!! Be careful here. 9/27 I am relieved to note that after a couple weeks and many calls on my part and a poor review, the storage mgmt adjusted my fees and i am satisfied!

I would highly recommend the Saline location for anyone looking for storage. They provided excellent service for the year I rented space, and Jenny and the rest of the staff were always very helpful. The facility is clean, well-lit, and easily accessible.

The lady in the office was very helpful and even though I extended my lease on my place, I'll definitely get storage here when I need it. They had some door issues but she assured me it would be fixed. I like the set up. Unit I saw was very clean!

Simply Self Storage has been a fantastic help. The facilities are always clean and well lit. Jennifer is always polite and helpful at the reception desk. I would definitely recommend them if you need a place to store your valuables.

I had a good experience with the storage place. Although it was a little far from where I live, but the helpful staff and reasonable pricing made it OK. The cost was fair and good quality storage facility to store my furniture. I would definitely use it again probably in the Ann Arbor area though.
