I have been renting space for the storage of my motorcycle that I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to import into Canada where I live. Through the entire process the only thing that has been pleasant has been my dealings with your facility and in particular, your staff. Every phone conversation has been pleasant, every e-mail has been replied to and all questions and concerns have always been addressed and answered to complete satisfaction. I would like to take the opportunity to make special mention of Yvette. I was down there recently to get my bike ready to for someone flying in to look at the bike for purchase. I had a lot to do in a short period of time and often found things not going my way. Not knowing the area Yvette was always ready to assist in any way possible. When I thought I was going to run short of time on site, she arranged 24 hour access for me just in case. When I was getting frustrated with the way things were going she was a nice break to cool down. When I needed something that I didn't bring with me she was there to offer what she had on site. (extension cords, a larger unit to show the bike etc.) Finding people like Yvette in a service type of industry is a rare find. Hang on to that one!"

"I'd like to express my appreciation to Simply Storage for having such wonderful staff, and to thank your property manager, Sylvester, at Hopatcong, NJ, for his extremely friendly, prompt and professional service. Additionally, when I stopped by after hours, just to look at the site, Sylvester was still there, helping another customer. Many other employees in such a situation would have been abrupt, but he was very friendly, and even offered to meet me there outside of hours if I could give him a time. This was impressive as I learned he commuties an hour and a half to this location each way, every day.

I managed to stop by this morning after 9:00 before work to see one of the units. If only other companies had employees who exhibited such courtesy, friendliness and professionalism. It's only a storage unit, but somehow knowing he is the manager there seems to make a difference when choosing a company. His delivery of information was simply perfect. Additionally, he drew attention to an important feature: the cleanliness of your facility. As a former pharmaceutical salesperson, I have a lot of experience with storage facilities and none seemed have been as well-maintained as yours. My overall experience is a true testament to your ability to recruit and motivate your employees who have an obvious, natural love of people and confidence in communicating such as John.

As a result, I am compelled to help promote your services by word of mouth whenever appropriate. I am convinced that you have the best product in town based my receiving an affordable product accompanied by a great attitude! Your organization and John have my sincerest appreciation for the fine job done to eliminate one major concern in my relocation process. I want to also acknowledge the Facility Manager, (I think his name is Dale) who was extremely proactive in assisting me find moving and transportation options. The chocolate (my favorite food) which Dale offered and the cold, soft drink John provided, as we began finalizing details, was the icing on the cake. "I am writing to express my sincere gratitude regarding the service I received from Pierre Gilliam, Property Manager of Simply Self Storage located at 28650 Grand River Avenue, Farmington Hills, Michigan 48336. On January 14, 2008 I returned a Penske rental truck along with a car trailer to Simply Self Storage. From my first steps into the store I was greeted with a smile from Ms. Gilliam. She was polite, professional, and friendly. I was able to return the rental with ease.

Most importantly, I was in a jam considering I had no way back to my apartment. I asked Ms. Gilliam if she knew of a cab service which could take me home. She asked where I lived at which time she stated she was traveling to conduct business very near where I lived and stated she could take me home. At this point I had been in Michigan after relocating from another state for approximately 24 hours and felt at home with Ms. Gilliam’s ability assist me with my problem. I was able to get home with no problem with the help of Ms. Gilliam.

I just wanted to say thanks and to let those who need to know what type of person Ms. Gilliam is. I believe she is an asset to Simply Self Storage and this shows by her ability to go the “extra mile” to make a customer happy.
